I am no expert on furs but believe this is perhaps beaver or a long haired mink

This early Matsuda skirt is genius and both weird and wonderful

The lower banding is a double layer of the same printed jersey and the bodice is lined in an ivory jersey

It is magic once on an actual body

The cotton mix fabric allows it to hold a fuller shape and that is how I shot it rather then the sleeker look it was worn with on the runway. The review for the Prada show was glowing. It stated in part that 'we had a Prada collection that continued to posit romance in all its aesthetic gestures (lace, flowers, hearts, fairy tale capes, and glittery red shoes)
