A hinged gold compact opens to reveal pink talc powder - again still there after all this time and a money clip and mirror finish that side

It is more fitted over the bodice there there is a row of big thick black buttons that run down the front for detailing

On this particular top there is also the very faintest  of a darkening near the upper shoulder - if you super-size the label shot you can see it just barely in the picture

It as a solid band black around the waist and then it skims over the hips to flare out to the hem

There is a tiny little bit of fading to the edges here and there

They would date to the early to mid 1970s and are quite extraordinary and special. The entire pant is covered in tightly spaced hand placed sequins and I love how the colours have been set so that they fall in wide bands down the entire pant. The base of the pant is a black silk chiffon lined with a grey silk chiffon and this creates a beautiful backdrop
