This is a beautiful cut of fordite with lots of nice colors in the paint layers

These are made from Toledo Ohio fordite from the plant at Parkway

The copper portion of this piece is heavily antiqued (intentionally darkened)

See the other pictures for scale next to a nickel and see below for detailed measurements. This cabochon is made with fordite from the plant at Parkway in Toledo Ohio. This is a nice sized domed teardrop that could be a ring or small pendant. The thickness tapers to the point at the top which is rounded nicely to make for an easier bezel set. I cut the fordite to show the layering in this piece. This cab
